Terms & Conditions for Photon Academy IB Math Tuition Singapore

By accessing our Website (https://www.ibmath.sg) or enrolling in IB Math tuition, IB Math HL tuition, or IB Math SL tuition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1) Intellectual Property Rights

All content on our Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Photon Academy or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content without our express written permission. 

All course materials, notes, and resources provided during IB Math tuition, IB Math HL tuition, and IB Math SL tuition are the intellectual property of Photon Academy. Unauthorized distribution, sharing, or reproduction is strictly prohibited. Photon Academy’s custom worksheets, IA templates, and video tutorials are copyrighted. Unauthorized sharing violates Singaporean law.

Dispute Resolution: Conflicts are resolved under Singapore’s Consumer Protection Laws via mediation. 

2) User Conduct

To maintain a high standard of learning, students must:

• Respect tutors and fellow students.
• Participate actively in IB Math tuition sessions.
• Avoid disruptive behavior during online or in-person classes.
• Post or transmit any harmful, threatening, or offensive material.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our Website or its servers.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our Website or its systems.
• Use our Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a student’s enrollment for violations of this code. 

3) Class Structure & Attendance

• Lesson Format: Classes may be in-person or online, depending on your selected tuition program.
• Punctuality: Students are expected to be on time for all classes.
• Absence Policy: If a student misses a class, no refunds will be provided, but a recorded lesson or makeup session may be arranged at our discretion.
• Flexibility for IB Students: You can reschedule classes with 24-hour notice via Email or our portal. Missed sessions without notice are forfeited.
• Holiday Breaks: Pause tuition during IB exam periods or school holidays—no extra charges.

4) Cancellation & Refund Policy

Student-Initiated Cancellations:

• Weekly Group Classes: No refunds for missed sessions.
• Private Tuition: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to be eligible for rescheduling.
• Photon Academy-Initiated Cancellations: In the rare case that we must cancel a class, we will reschedule or provide a full refund.

5) Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Website is provided “as is” and “as available” without express or implied warranties. We do not warrant that our Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

6) Limitation of Liability

Photon Academy aims to provide high-quality IB Math tuition but does not guarantee specific results. Academic success depends on student effort and commitment. Photon Academy is not affiliated with the International Baccalaureate (IB) or any school in Singapore. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Photon Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with your use of our Website.
